Fundraising Support for Charities & Non-Profits:
Making Every Effort Count
For many charities and non-profit organizations, fundraising has become a necessary but overwhelming part of operations—often handled “off the side of the desk” by well-meaning staff or volunteers with little training or strategic support. Too often, organizations invest dozens (or hundreds) of hours into events that yield only modest returns. With limited resources and growing demands, it’s essential that fundraising efforts are not only meaningful—but financially worthwhile.
At Apex Team Training & Consulting, we help organizations in Chatham-Kent and throughout Southwestern Ontario move beyond guesswork and into intentional, strategic fundraising. We’re passionate about helping non-profit organizations and charities build custom fundraising plans that are both achievable and high-impact. Together, we’ll look at how to maximize return on investment—ensuring that every hour of staff and volunteer time contributes meaningfully to your bottom line.
Through hands-on support throughout Chatham-Kent and Southwestern Ontario, we guide teams in developing effective sponsorship strategies, understanding donor psychology, and building the confidence needed to explore their networks and ask for support. Fundraising doesn’t have to be uncomfortable—it can be empowering, relationship-focused, and even fun when approached with the right tools and mindset.
As a Co-Founder of the Chatham-Kent Charity Classic, I’ve seen firsthand what’s possible with the right planning and community engagement. Over four events, we’ve raised over $103,000 in net proceeds, including $39,000 in our last, one day event.. These kinds of results aren’t just possible—they’re achievable with the right approach, and I’m here to help you get there.
In a climate where funding is tight and competition for donor dollars is increasing, non-profit organizations can’t afford to spend time on fundraising efforts that don’t deliver. I’m here to help you unlock your organization’s full potential—through smarter strategies, stronger relationships, and a clear path forward.
